Career

Club

Aničić started his career at boyhood club Zrinjski Mostar. He played there for 7 seasons, making his debut at the age of 18.

On 5 February 2014, Aničić signed for Kazakhstani side Astana.[1]

International

Aničić appeared 18 times for Bosnia and Herzegovina under-21, making him one of the most capped players at that level of Bosnian football.

Aničić received first senior call-up in September 2015, for the games against Belgium and Andorra,[2] being reunited with his old teammate from Zrinjski, Toni Šunjić, but did not appear in any of the games.

He continued being called up for the remaining matches throughout 2015, but he was either injured and couldn't make the team or on the bench. He made his first appearance for the senior national side on March 25, 2016, in a friendly match against Luxembourg.[3]
