On 30 June 2014, Kerla signed for Žalgiris Vilnius in the Lithuanian A Lyga.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
On 11 February 2016, Kerla signed for Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Irtysh Pavlodar.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
International
On December 10, 2010 Kerla made his debut for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior team against Poland.
