Abortion in Kazakhstan is legal with consent of the pregnant woman.<ref name=UN>Template:Cite book</ref> Abortions are available to women in Kazakhstan within the first 28 weeks of conception.<ref name=UN />

History

Abortion law in Kazakhstan is based upon law in the former USSR and has not been updated since independence in 1992.<ref name=UN />
