Template:Speciesbox Allium anisopodium, also called thread-leaf chive,<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> is a plant species native to Siberia, the Russian Far East, Korea, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and northern China.<ref name="asdkfjpwier">Flora of China v 24 p 185</ref>

Allium anisopodium is a perennial herb with a scape (round in cross-section) up to 70 cm tall. Leaves are about the same length as the scape. Flowers are purple.<ref name="asdkfjpwier"/><ref>Karl Friedrich von Ledebour. 1852. Two varieties are generally recognized:<ref name="0982495078345u3"/><ref name="asdkfjpwier"/>

Allium anisopodium var. anisopodium --- Leaves, scape and pedicels smooth

Allium anisopodium var. zimmermannianum (Gilg) F.T. Wang & T. Tan<ref>Wang, Fa Tsuan & T. Tan. 1934.
