Nurly Zhol is a $9 billion domestic economic stimulus plan to develop and modernize roads, railways, ports, IT infrastructure, and education and civil services in the Republic of Kazakhstan.<ref name="FT1">Template:Cite news</ref> The Nurly Zhol plan was announced by Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev in November 2014.<ref name="nov14">Template:Cite web</ref>

Nurly Zhol targets seven areas of infrastructure development:<ref name="nurlynewsdesk">Template:Cite web</ref>

  1. transportation and logistics infrastructure
  2. industrial infrastructure
  3. energy infrastructure
  4. public utilities infrastructure
  5. housing infrastructure
  6. social infrastructure
  7. small and medium-sized enterprises

1.4 million square meters of rental housing is expected to be constructed in 2015-2019.<ref name="Baiterek2015">Template:Cite web</ref> The implementation of the New Economic Policy "Nurly Zhol" is expected to create over 200,000 new jobs.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>

Development of education infrastructure is an important component of Nurly Zhol. For example, within the Nurly Zhol program Karaganda region built four new education facilities.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>

Implementation of the Nurly Zhol program allowed to create 105,000 jobs and provided for a 1% GPD growth in 2016. Also, 611 km of roads were commissioned in 2016 as part of Nurly Zhol.<ref name="NZ2016">Template:Cite web</ref>
