Career
Abildaev began and ended his career with FC Shakhter Karagandy.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref> He also played for FC Kairat in the Soviet First League.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
Abildaev made seven appearances and scored one goal for the Kazakhstan national football team from 1992 to 1996.
Abildaev was appointed executive director of Shakhter Karagandy in 2008.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
