Janseyit Tuimebayev (born in 1958)<ref name=BIRTHDAY>First Civilian Defense Minister, New Heads of Education, Industry and Trade, and Emergency Situations Template:Webarchive Embassy of Kazakhstan to the USA and Canada</ref> has served as the Education and Science Minister in the Government of Kazakhstan since he replaced Byrganym Aytimova on 10 January 2007 in a political shakeup.<ref name=APPOINTMENT>President of Kazakhstan forming cabinet, AzerTaj</ref>

Born on 8 July 1958. Graduated from Kazakh State University (1980), philologist, PhD in Philology, Associated professor. Minister extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the 2nd rank.

  • September 1999 – appointed Chief of Protocol of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • March 2004 – Advisor to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • February 2006 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation<ref>Template:Cite news</ref>
  • January 2007 – appointed Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan
