The participation of '''Kazakhstan in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest''' first began in [[Istanbul]], [[Turkey]], at the inaugural [[Bala Turkvision Song Contest]] in 2015. [[Adam Media Group]] (AMG) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Tursynkhan Yerkin was the first representative for Kazakhstan at the [[Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015]] with the song "Samğa", which finished in second place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of one-hundred and thirteen points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Kazakhstan have awarded the most points to {{Tsccnty|Albania|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Găgăuzia|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Kyrgyzstan|b=Bala}}, and {{Tsccnty|Ukraine|b=Bala}}. They have received the most points from {{Tsccnty|Albania|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Azerbaijan|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Belarus|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Găgăuzia|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Georgia|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Kyrgyzstan|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Romania|b=Bala}}, {{Tsccnty|Turkey|b=Bala}}, and {{Tsccnty|Ukraine|b=Bala}}. ==Origins of the contest==
Bala Turkvision is an annual song contest. Based on the similar format of the [[Junior Eurovision Song Contest]], Bala Turkvision focuses primarily on participating [[Turkic peoples|Turkic]] countries and regions. A juror from each nation awards between 1 and 10 points for every entry, except their own. In the Grand Final the jury determines the winner.
