The '''jetigen''' ({{lang-kk|жетіген}} {{IPA-kk|ʒi̯ɘtɘɣi̯ɘn|}}, or '''dzhetigan''' or '''zhetygen''') is a [[Kazakhs|Kazakh]] seven-stringed [[zither]] similar to the Mongolian [[yatga]] or Siberian [[jadagan]]. Early instruments took the form of a rectangular box, carved from wood, with strings stretched over the top.
