==History==
Atyrau Airways was established in 1996 as an airline as well as the operating company of Atyrau Airport. It became part of the '''Air Kazakhstan Group''' (which also comprised [[Air Kazakhstan]] and [[Irtysh Avia]]) in December 1999.
