Astana Railway Station is the main station in [[Astana]], the capital of [[Kazakhstan]]. The current station can handle 7,000 travellers a day, as part of the infrastructure build up to EXPO 2017 the station is due to be rebuilt near Mynzhyldyk Alley with a new capacity of 12,000.<ref>http://www.railway-technology.com/projects/astana-train-station/</ref><br />

The new 45,000&nbsp;ft² terminal building has an enclosed space of 110,000m², a 70,000m² car park and a 2,550m-long railway platform.
