He served as the [[Prime Minister of Belarus|Chairman]] of the [[Government of Belarus|Council of Ministers]] of the [[Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic]] from 17 March 1948 to 24 July 1953. Kleschchov has also served as the general major. He was a member of the [[Communist Party of Kazakhstan]] from 1955 until 1960. He was deputy member of the [[Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union]]. From 1927 to 1929, he served in the [[Red Army]]. He was born in [[Minsk Governorate]] and died in [[Moscow]] on 13 December 1968, aged 63.
