Template:IIHFnation The Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation (Template:Lang-kk Template:Lang-ru) is the governing body of ice hockey in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan was one of nine former republics of the Soviet Union to join the International Ice Hockey Federation on May 6, 1992.^[1]

The country has 4716 registered hockey players.^[2]
