KFRR promotes amateur radio in Kazakhstan by sponsoring [[amateur radio operating award]]s and radio [[contesting|contests]].  The KFRR organizes and supports [[Amateur Radio Direction Finding]] competitions and the Kazakhstan national ARDF team.
