Kazakhfilm (Template:IPAc-en; Template:Lang-kk, Qazaqfilm, pronounced {{#switch: |IPA=IPA: |lang=Kazakh: |pron=pronounced |=|Kazakh pronunciation: }}Template:IPA{{#if:|Template:IPA audio link }}; Template:Lang-ru) is a Kazakh film studio, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

History

The Alma-Aty studio of a newsreel was organized in 1934.

In 1938 the first Kazakh movie Amangeldy was created.

The Alma-Aty film studio (feature films) was organized in 1941.

Kazakhfilm Cinema Studio was named after Shaken Aimanov, outstanding national film director, in 1984.
