EAP Malaysia is the leader of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin Early Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. For all therapists, a first training including 20 hours of classes and 3 weeks on hand-held training is required prior to beginning work with a youngster with autism after which routine fortnightly if not regular guidance is supplied through routine overlaps and group conferences.

Furthermore, WEAP's published research study in the American Journal of Mental Retardation (November 2005 problem) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research study in 1987 and 1993 where 48% of the children who joined the extensive behavioral therapy had the ability to capture up and participate effectively in normal school.

Each kid at EAP is assigned a group of specialists that what services are available for my autistic child supervised by a Supervisor on a biweekly basis and an Elderly Manager on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progress Reviews twice a year.
